- The Gunners seemed to have bagged another three point after goals from Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah cancelled out Andreas Pereira’s early strike
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has spoken to their 2-2 draw with Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Gunners seemed to have bagged another three point after goals from Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah cancelled out Andreas Pereira’s early strike.
However, Palhinha netted a late equalizer for the hosts, who had gone down to 10 men after Calvin Bassey’s red card.
Speaking on why they did not win the match, Arteta said the players lost concentration when it mattered most.
He told Sky: “With all the effort that we made, the situations we generated, chance after chance, the attitude of the boys, the way the subs came on – then you go 2-1 up, with 10 men, the game is done.
“You give a ball away, you give a corner, you have to defend that box with your life if you want wins in the Premier League and we didn’t do that well enough.”
