Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has approved the appointment of medical directors, special advisers, senior special assistants, and senior assistants.
According to a statement signed and issued to newsmen by the governor’s spokesperson, Suleiman Bala Idris, the new appointments align with Governor Lawal’s commitment to efficient service delivery and bringing the most capable individuals on board.
The statement said that the fresh appointments include two medical directors, four special advisers, five senior special assistants, and two special assistants.
According to the statement: “In the Ministry of Health, the Governor has approved the appointment of Dr Aminu Muhammad as the Medical Director of Yeriman Bakura Specialists Hospital and Dr Amina Hassan as the Medical Director of General Hospital, Gusau.
“Furthermore, the Governor has approved the appointment of the following Special Advisers: Muhammed Gado Anka, Special Adviser, Community Engagement; Nura Almajir, Special Adviser, Job Creation; and Bala Umar Chafe, Special Adviser, Intergovernmental Relations.
“Other appointments are Nura Sirajo Gusau, Senior Special Assistant on Human Capital Development; Barrister Ajiya S. Ajiya, Senior Special Assistant, Legal Matters; Barrister Musa S. Muhammed, Senior Special Assistant, Legal; Ibrahim N. Isma’il, Senior Special Assistant, Intergovernmental Affairs; Amina Danjuma, Senior Special Assistant, Donor Coordination; Ishaku James, Special Assistant, Youth and Sports; and Abdul Sidi, Special Assistant, Governor’s Office.”
All appointments take immediate effect.
