The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has called for a thorough investigation into the death of late Nigerian Singer, Oladimeji Aloba, otherwise known as Mohbad.
This is as he mourned the passing away of Mohbad and condoled with his mother and entire family “over his painful demise.”
Obi expressed his condolences in a post on his X handle Tuesday.
The former Anambra State governor stated that he knew “how difficult it is for parents to lose a child, especially one with such a promising future as his.”
In his request, Obi urged the government and security agencies to probe the circumstances that led to Mohbad’s untimely death.
He charged them to leave no stone unturned in unraveling the everything behind his death.
With the demise of Aloba, Obi regretted that the nation had lost “a promising talent in our growing music and entertainment industry.”
He prayed God grant him eternal rest, and grant his family and fans the fortitude to bear the loss.
