Fire has broken out at the Nigerian Supreme Court building in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The fire outbreak at the apex court, which happened on Monday morning, was caused by an attack, Arise TV reports.
According to the media outlet, the offices of three justices of the supreme court were razed in the inferno.
The incident is coming as the nation awaits the ruling on appeals filed by Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) that upheld the election of President Bola Tinubu.

However, the Supreme Court spokesperson, Festus Akande, debunked viral claims that the inferno was caused by hoodlums who invaded the premises of the apex court.
He disclosed that the incident was caused by electrical fault in one of the chambers.
He also refuted reports on social media that three offices of the Supreme Court justices were razed in the inferno, noting that only one chamber was affected.
Akande said the fire was put out by workers of the Supreme Court before it spread to other part of the country.
Speaking on Arise TV on Monday morning, he assured members of public that the fire incident will not in anyway affect the presidential election case pending before the apex court.
