The Enugu State government has called upon qualified individuals to show interest and apply for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force. The Police Recruitment Board recently announced that its online portal for recruitment would be open for applications for six weeks starting from October 15.

In a statement issued in Enugu, the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr. Aka Eze Aka, expressed concern about the lack of enthusiasm among Enugu citizens to join the police force. He emphasized the importance of having more state residents actively participate in the Force.

Aka stated, “The ministry advises interested and qualified individuals from Enugu State to apply for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables.”

He stressed the significance of recruiting individuals from the state into the Force, underscoring the need for active participation. Interested applicants were directed to visit the website www.apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng for the application process.

The call from the Enugu State government aims to encourage the state youth to consider careers in law enforcement and contribute to maintaining peace and security in Nigeria.
