President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has conveyed his belief that the current challenges confronting Nigeria are temporary. He assured Nigerians that his administration is dedicated to improving the nation’s economy.

Speaking during a meeting with a delegation of South West Muslim faithful, led by Rasaki Oladejo in Abuja, President Tinubu emphasized the need for sacrifice in the restoration of Nigeria’s rightful place among nations.

“We have to believe in one country. We will do our best. Our economy will get better for the benefit of Nigerians. I am very sure of that, and we are putting in the work to ensure that,” he stated.

President Tinubu also noted the necessity of making challenging decisions for the country’s betterment, citing the removal of petroleum subsidies as an example. He highlighted that this step was long overdue and essential to prevent the collapse of Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of responsible leadership.

“In the history of successful nations, there is nothing more vital than the leadership taking difficult decisions at the right time and for the right reasons. There would have been no money for the sub-nationals,” he explained.

President Tinubu expressed gratitude to the leaders for their prayers and support, assuring them that his administration is committed to empowering the youth with skills and creating an enabling environment for their prosperity.
