A 500-level Veterinary Medicine student at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State, named Abdullahi Ibrahim, has been apprehended by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Bauchi State on suspicion of killing a 17-year-old individual.
The suspect allegedly used explicit photos to lure the teenage secondary student and convinced him to meet for illicit activities.

Oyejide further stated that the command had received information regarding a culpable homicide case, involving a 17-year-old secondary student, Umar Usman, who resided in Misau and was discovered wrapped in a cloth and abandoned at the Misau bypass.
He explained, “On October 20, 2023, the lifeless body of Umar Usman was found wrapped in a white cloth and dumped in the Misau bypass.
“He was quickly taken to General Hospital Misau where he was certified dead by a medical doctor. His corpse was handed over to the family for burial.
“After thorough investigations by the operatives, a suspect, Abdullahi Ibrahim, a 500-level student of Veterinary Medicine ABU Zaria, was arrested.
“We realised that there was a chat between the suspect, Ibrahim and the deceased, Usman. In the communication, we saw where the suspect enticed the deceased with homosexual love and he showed him his naked picture.
