Four South West governors have visited the Chairman of the Southwest Governors’ Forum and Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu in lbadan, Oyo state.

The Governors present at the meeting, held in lbadan, Oyo state include, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Prince Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Engr. Seyi Makinde of Oyo, and Mr. Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti.

Their visit is coming after Akeredolu’s three months medical vacation Abroad.

Akeredolu received the governors at his lbadan residence.

The meeting was held behind closed doors.

This is coming after calls by opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party, various groups, that the governor should resign or be impeached on the ground of incapacitation.

Meanwhile, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Richard Olatunde, in a statement, said that the governors met with their chairman and that they discussed issues of interest.

Olatunde said that ” the governor who appreciated the Governors for their solidarity, harped on continuous collaboration among the Southwest States.

“The Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, said the Forum is praying for governor Akeredolu.

“Makinde added that he has the support of all the Governors in the region.

“The governors discussed National and other Issues affecting the region and the people.
