Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has expressed his elation over the tribunal victory of Alhassan Doguwa, hailing it as a significant triumph for democracy.

In a congratulatory message to Alhassan Doguwa, Majority Leader of the 9th National Assembly, Ganduje commended the court’s decision, characterizing it as a resounding endorsement of the people’s popular mandate. He highlighted that Doguwa’s victory in the tribunal was especially noteworthy because it occurred at a time when the state was grappling with the dominance of unpopular voices from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Ganduje stated, “We commend the court for upholding the popular mandate of the people, because Doguwa’s victory at the Tribunal is a victory for democracy and a significant contribution to the National Assembly.”

It’s worth noting that the State and National Assembly elections tribunal in Kano recently dismissed the petition against Doguwa filed by the NNPP’s candidate due to a lack of merits.

In his congratulatory message, Ganduje further asserted, “The court vindicates Alhassan Ado Doguwa as a hero of democracy and a staunch advocate for the rule of law, who places his faith in legal adjudication.”

The National Chairman emphasized the importance of Doguwa’s presence in the Green Chambers, asserting that his contributions to the nation’s well-being were immeasurable. He highlighted the positive leadership that Doguwa demonstrated during his tenure as the Leader of the National Assembly, particularly with Femi as the Speaker. This, he said, exemplified maturity and a commitment to the principles of the rule of law.

In conclusion, Ganduje extended his congratulations to the residents of Doguwa/Tudunwada Federal Constituency and the broader Kano state community, celebrating Doguwa’s tribunal victory.
