JUST-IN: Police Officers Spray Water, Assault Rivers State Governor, Fubara (VIDEO)

• Governor Fubara arrived the Rivers Assembly complex on Monday morning with dozens of his supporters.
• Reports have that lawmakers have begun impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara.

Police officers attacked and doused Governor Sim Fubara with water on Monday morning, causing commotion in the Rivers State House of Assembly complex.

With dozens of his supporters, Governor Fubara had arrived to the Assembly building in anticipation of the lawmakers starting the impeachment process against him.

The governor is among the mob that police officers use water to scatter in the incident’s video footage.
