President Bola Tinubu is set to attend the official inauguration of the California chapter of the Asiwaju Hope Global Movement in the United States of America. He will be the special guest of honour at the event and will also receive an award of excellence from the organizers.

The Asiwaju Hope Global Movement is a support group aimed at contributing to the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the overall development of Nigeria. It was conceptualized three years ago and is inspired by Tinubu’s past achievements, particularly during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State, where he transformed the state into a top investment destination in Africa with substantial economic growth and human capital development.

The event, scheduled to take place in Carson City, California, will run from December 5 to 15, 2023. It will feature a lecture series on President Tinubu’s personality and achievements, as well as the presentation of awards of excellence to notable Nigerians who have made significant contributions to the country’s development.

Special guests of honour at the event will include Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady and wife of the President; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Governor Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State; Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio; Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi; Dr. Taiye Olayinka Afolabi; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Mudashiru Obasa; Hon James Faleke; Hon Mrs. Abike Dabiri Erewa; Hon Folake Okoya-Thomas; Otunba Dr. Kolade Carew Rontex; and Alhaja Sikirat Ejide, among others.
