Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has been granted bail by a federal capital territory high court located in Maitama, Abuja.
Olukayode Adeniyi, the presiding judge, issued an order directing the federal government to release Emefiele to his attorneys in response to the bail application submitted by the former governor of the CBN.
In addition, the court directed the attorneys to make sure Emefiele’s foreign passport is lodged in front of the court and that he is brought in for arraignment whenever necessary.
