Mr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, the National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the South-East, has asserted the party’s determination to secure victories in Anambra and other states in the region, mirroring their success in the recent elections.
While congratulating Governor Hope Uzodimma on his victory in Imo State, Arodiogbu shared with newsmen in Owerri that the APC is actively working to extend its influence across all the South-East states.
Encouraging the people of the region to transcend regional sentiments and join the APC, he emphasized the importance of participating in central politics to maintain relevance.
Arodiogbu stated, “Let the people of the Southeast key into the power at the center. And I am very confident that under my watch as the APC National Vice Chairman, South East will get more States and give support.”
The APC zonal vice chairman extended a hand of fellowship to candidates of the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), urging them to support Uzodimma to realize the collective aspirations for Imo.
Additionally, Arodiogbu expressed the satisfaction of APC members and the people of Imo State with Governor Hope Uzodimma’s victory, recognizing the desire for the APC to continue its positive impact in the state.
In a related development, the Chairman of the Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Imo state, Ichie Levi Ekeh, thanked the people for the peaceful polls. Congratulating Uzodimma, Ekeh urged the governor to lead an inclusive government that harnesses diverse potentials for the benefit of the state’s development. He also called on other gubernatorial candidates to unite in supporting the incoming administration for the greater good of Imo state.
