- This ICU, a generous donation from Region 36, was named in honor of the General Overseer of the ministry and his wife, Pastor Enoch and Folu Adeboye
On Friday, the Redeemed Christian Church of God unveiled an Intensive Care Unit at the Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State.
This ICU, a generous donation from Region 36, was named in honor of the General Overseer of the ministry and his wife, Pastor Enoch and Folu Adeboye.
During the event, Pastor Adeboye’s wife commended the initiative, emphasizing the significance of good health for humanity. She highlighted the importance of prioritizing good health over wealth, advocating for a stronger focus on well-being in our pursuits.
She said, “Even if you give millions to a person who is not in perfect health, such a person would not enjoy it. Health is more important than prosperity. That is to say that whatever you may desire to have materially today, have good health, desire good health.”
Also, the pastor in charge of the region, Dele Jayieoba, while appreciating those who supported the project, stressed the ministry’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
“When we commenced as a region in September last year, we decided to embrace a culture of ‘if it is not very good, it is not good enough’.
“This excellent culture is what brought CSR to our region, our CSR should have an impact on the host community and this is the inspiration that gave birth to Enoch and Folu Adeboye Intensive Care Unit of the Alimosho General Hospital, Igando.”
