JUST-IN: Heightened Security At NASS As Tinubu Presents 2024 Budget

Anyone without accreditation was not allowed in.

President Bola Tinubu is preparing to introduce the 2024 Appropriations Bill before a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives by 11 a.m. today, which is why there is an increased security presence at the National Assembly Complex.

More armed police officers were seen to be dispatched to the Main (MOPOL) Gate, the Villa Gate, and the National Assembly Annex Gates, which are the complex’s entrances.

No one without an accreditation was permitted entry.

The atmosphere had a solemn undertone as the usual hustle and bustle associated with the National Assembly was absent with the restriction of human and vehicular traffic.

This is a developing story…
