- The Vice President is scheduled to commission a private sector-driven electric energy meter manufacturing factory in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area during his visit.
Vice President Kashim Shettima was received by Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Thursday at the Umueri area’s Chinua Achebe International Airport.
The Vice President’s visit included the commissioning of a privately owned plant in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, that manufactures electric energy metres.
On its Facebook page, the Anambra Broadcast Service posted pictures.
The caption reads: “Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima is currently in Anambra State.
“He was received by Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo at the Chinua Achebe International Airport, Umueri.
“Vice President Shettima is on an official visit to the State.
“During the visit, the Vice President is expected to commission a private sector driven electric energy metre manufacturing factory in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area.”
