A family source informed SaharaReporters on Wednesday, 27th December that Akeredolu died in Lagos.
Notably, State House doctors were reportedly overseeing his medical care until his demise, as challenges with international travel prevented him from being flown abroad for treatment.
The insider revealed:
“Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos,”
“They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week.”
Rotimi Akeredolu was 67 years old at the time of his demise.
Reports have it that the cause of his death was Leukemia; a cancer of the blood caused by a rise in the number of white blood cells in the body.
