  • Applicants are required to bring essential documents, including evidence of physical and mental fitness, for the free screening exercise

The Rivers State Police Command has disclosed that the screening process for individuals interested in joining the force will commence on January 8. SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the spokesperson for the command, made this announcement in a statement released in Port Harcourt.

The screening program will take place at the Alfred Diete-Spiff Civic Centre on Moscow Road in Port Harcourt and is scheduled to run from January 8 to January 29. Iringe-Koko provided details regarding the required documents for the physical and credential screening exercise.

Applicants are expected to bring evidence of physical and mental fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital, along with evidence of good character from the village or district head of their respective areas. Additionally, candidates should present original and duplicate copies of their certificate of origin, national identity card/slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, and the printout of their application form.

Other necessary items include a duly completed guarantor’s form, invitation slip, recent passport photographs, and two white flat files. Candidates are advised to wear clean white T-shirts and shorts for the exercise and should arrive at the screening venue no later than 8 am daily during the recruitment period.
