Terrorists attack Zamfara village, kill 7, kidnap scores

Terrorists wreaking havoc in Nigeria’s north west region have struck again in Zamfara state.

The rampaging armed non-state actors attacked Nahuche community of Bungudu Local Government Area of the State State, killing seven locals and abducting scores.

A local, Tasiu Nahuche, who is privy to the invasion, said the terrorists attacked the village in the at dawn of Wednesday.

He disclosed that the community members were already asleep when the bandits stormed the village and started shooting sporadically.

“We were running helter-skelter to save our lives.

“Nobody can exactly say the number of people abducted,” he said.

But all efforts to get a response from the State police spokesman, Yazid Abdulahi proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.

In recent weeks, towns and villages in the middle belt and the core north have come under violent and brutal attacks that left many dead and properties destroyed.
