The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, honored 385 newly promoted officers by formally bestowing their new ranks upon them during an event held on Tuesday.
During the ceremony, Mohammed Lawal-Falala, the Commandant of NSCDC in Kano State, encouraged the recently promoted officers to persist in embodying the principles and fundamental values of the NSCDC through courage, dedication, and a commitment to professionalism.
“I want to express my deepest congratulations. You have exhibited unparalleled courage, resilience and dedication in your roles. Your promotion is a reflection of your exceptional performance,” he said.
He advised the officers of the command to seize every opportunity and professional skill to expand their knowledge of the evolving security challenges in society.
“Together, we must remain vigilant, adaptable and forward-thinking in our approach to safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens we are sworn to protect,” said Lawal-Falala, who commended Gov. Abba Yusuf and other security agencies for their support of the NSCDC in the state.
The governor, who was represented by the Kano State Director-General of Special Duties, AVM Umar Ibrahim (retd), described the officers’ promotion as a recognition of their achievements.
“As you continue to safeguard and protect citizens, you should always remember that you are ambassadors of peace and justice; stay vigilant and loyal,” the governor said.
