Kidnappers abduct father, three daughters in Zamfara, demand N100Million ransom

The abductors contacted Alhaji Sabiu's family on Saturday, demanding a ransom of N100 million for the release of the captives

Terrorists have kidnapped Alhaji Sabiu Abdulkadir and his three daughters in their residence in Damba quarters, located in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State in northwest Nigeria.

According to Sahara Reporters, the abductors contacted Alhaji Sabiu’s family on Saturday, demanding a ransom of N100 million for the release of the captives.

“The family only listen to their voices on the phone. Nobody knows their exact location since the day they were abducted. The money they demanded is much – N100million.

“But I heard the family has been working on how to raise the money and maybe to beg the bandits to reduce the price,” Aliyu said.

Checks on Sabiu’s Facebook page showed that a user, Abdulmaleek Mkdee also provided information on the kidnapping incident to confirm Aliyu’s claim.

He added that the kidnappers had begun to threaten the lives of their abductees because of the delay in getting the ransom.

A group of terrorists last Wednesday abducted a lecturer and director, of the Centre for Research of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State, Bello Janbako.
