At least ten people have died in a ghastly auto crash in Ringim Local Government, Jigawa State, on Thursday.
Another twelve passengers were said to have suffered varying degree of injuries in the crash.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Ibrahim Yahaya, confirmed the incident to newsmen.
He disclosed that the incident was caused by a head-on collision of vehicles, a Volkswagen Golf car and a Toyota bus carrying 22 passengers.
The two vehicles caught fire after the collision which happened around 12:30 pm at Gidan Garke village.
According to him, some of the victims died on the spot, while others were taken to General Hospital Ringim.
He added that the two vehicles could not be identified as there were no registration numbers on them
