The recently sworn-in Kogi Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has named cabinet members and other important aides on his first day in office.
In his inaugural speech, he declared that the nomination of certain commissioners will be sent to the Assembly for expeditious approval as members of the State Executive Council (SEC).
Remember that on Saturday afternoon, Ododo took the oath of office as the fifth elected governor of Kogi.
The majority of the Commissioner-nominees were from Governor Yahaya Bello’s most recent government.
Among them are Folashade Ayoade Arike, Kingsley Fanwo, Deedat Salami Ozigi, the former SSG and several assistants named with immediate effect.
