Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State, inaugurated today, emphasized the firm and transparent nature of his administration in his inaugural address.
He pledged not to be biased based on ethnicity and assured that his government would serve all, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or political allegiance.
Ododo expressed gratitude to his predecessor, Yahaya Bello, and President Bola Tinubu for their support during the electioneering process. He urged the people of Kogi to unite and rally behind his administration, irrespective of their ethnic backgrounds.
“Our government shall hit the ground running with people-oriented projects that will focus on the wellbeing of our people,” he said.
The governor said his administration will build on the foundation laid by the immediate past governor of the state.
He said that his administration will be “open, firm, rugged”, while calling on investors to make the state an “investment hub”.
He added that the state is safe for investment and that his administration is ready to partner with the private sector for job opportunities for the youths.
