Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, expressed his determination to secure victory in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) alongside his teammates in Cote d’Ivoire, to leave a lasting memory for Nigerians.
In a statement shared on Osasu Obayiuwana’s handle on Monday, the 24-year-old Napoli striker highlighted his commitment to achieving greatness with Jose Peseiro’s side in the ongoing AFCON tournament.
Osimhen’s notable performance against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, where he assisted Ademola Lookman in scoring the first goal, played a crucial role in securing a spot for the Eagles in the quarterfinals.
“I want to win something with this great squad. I want to give Nigeria something that they will remember. I’m giving everything to come home with the [AFCON] trophy,” said Osimhen.
