Former Governor of Yobe State, Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim is dead.
It was gathered that the former governor died on Sunday while receiving treatment for a protracted illness in Saudi Arabia.
It was gathered that Ibrahim will be buried in Saudi Arabia.
Ibrahim, who was equally a former Senator representing Yobe East, died at the age of 75 years.
Namibia President, Hage Geingob dead at 82
In another sad development, Hage Geingob, Namibia’s President is dead.
Geingob died in the early hours of Sunday after a battle with cancer.
The death of the 82-year-old was announced in a statement signed by the acting president, Nangolo Mbumba.
“It is with utmost sadness and regret that I inform you that our beloved Dr. Hage G. Geingob, the President of the Republic of Namibia has passed on today.
“At his side was his dear wife Madame Monica Geingos and his children.”
