- She said the high cost of living has reached a troubling point where people are struggling to feed.
A Nigerian lady of Yoruba extraction, who gave her all towards the actualisation of a Bola Tinubu presidency, has expressed regret over her action.
This is as she voiced her discontent over the unprecedented economic hardship occasioned by the unsettling cost of living crisis in the country.
The visibly exasperated young woman painfully expressed her dissatisfaction with the current state of the nation, especially the economy, under the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government.
Speaking in Yoruba, the woman said the economic hardship the citizens are grappling with has become so acute that the high cost of living has reached a troubling point where people are struggling to feed.
She specifically mentioned an incident involving the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), where she received a bill of N70,000 for a one-room apartment, despite only using a fan.
The disappointed and resentful supporter also addressed the surging prices of house rent, emphasizing that the cost has soared to levels that are beyond the reach of many citizens.
She noted that citizens who used to be well off have now been impoverished.
She admonished the Tinubu government to consider stepping down to make way for a more capable leadership if it’s unable to proffer effective and actionable solutions to the economic woes of the nation.
