The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has reported the sale of 2,600 Hajj seats out of the 5,934 allocated seats for the 2024 Hajj by the National Hajj Commission.

Alhaji Laminu Rabiu, the board’s Director-General, revealed this during the flag-off of orientation training for 2024 intending pilgrims in Kano on Saturday.

Assuring readiness, Rabiu stated that all necessary arrangements for the 2024 Hajj in Kano and Saudi Arabia had been concluded.

He emphasized the importance of attendance at the orientation training, scheduled in 13 centres across Kano State, urging pilgrims to prioritize participation for valuable insights into the Hajj pilgrimage.

“We have completed logistics for accommodation, feeding, and transportation during the 2024 Hajj,” Rabiu affirmed.

Encouraging exemplary behaviour, Rabiu urged intending pilgrims to uphold the dignity of Kano State and Nigeria, emphasizing compliance with Hajj regulations.

He added that visa issuance for the 2024 Hajj is set to conclude on April 29.
