Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under the auspices of the PDP Governors’ Forum, have begun arriving to the Oyo State Governors Lodge in Asokoro for a vital meeting.
Governors Agbu Kefas of Taraba, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, and Godwin Obaseki of Edo arrived for the meeting.
The Plateau State governor Caleb Mutfwang, the deputy governor of Enugu State Ifeanyi Ossai, and the deputy governor of Delta State on Monday John Onyeme are also present.
The PDP Governors’ Forum is headed by Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.
The nation’s present security and economic conditions, the approaching Edo State gubernatorial election, the party’s primary on February 22nd, the National Executive Council meeting, and other party-related issues will all be discussed.
