Just like the All Progressives Congress (APC) whose primary election saw the emergence of three different candidates leading to the declaration of the exercise as inconclusive, the PDP may also be toeing the same line of multiple candidates emergence as different factions of the party hold parallel primary elections.
The primary election of the three leading political party in the state, Labour Party, PDP and APC, has been characterized by controversy and bitter internal wrangling occasioned by accusation of rigging, bribery and manipulations.
