The two-day nationwide protest by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has been suspended on Tuesday night.
The Labour said in a communique following the National Executive Council meeting that the protest’s first day’s goals had been met.
“Consequently, NEC-in-session resolved as follows: to suspend street action for the second day of the Protest having achieved overwhelming success thus attained the key objectives of the 2-day protest on the first day,” the communique partly read.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the NLC began protest today in some states like Lagos, Abuja, Imo etc.
