The Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JED) has announced that customers in Gombe State should expect power outages on Tuesday and Wednesday due to scheduled maintenance activities in the region.
Dr. Friday Adakole Elijah, Head of Corporate Communications at JED, revealed in a statement issued from Jos, the capital of Plateau State, that the blackout is necessary for the annual preventive maintenance exercise conducted by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
“The management of Jos Electricity Distribution Company wishes to inform its valued customers in the Gombe region about an upcoming power outage. This outage is required to facilitate the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) technical crew in conducting the Annual Preventive Maintenance exercise on T2A-150MVA Transformer at 330KV Gombe TS,” the statement explained.
