A cult-related incident has reportedly resulted in the death of a student at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) Owerri and several injuries to others.
A clash is said to have occurred on Friday morning after Imo State University (IMSU) students entered the FUTO campus in a motorcycle convoy.
One of the IMSU students gave the FUTO Man O War commander a deadly neck stabbing during the altercation, which caused his instantaneous death.
The death and the injuries have left the university community in mourning and shock.
