- PRP warns of potential anarchy and chaos in Nigeria’s future, citing recent incidents of widespread looting as ominous signs
- The party condemns the looting, emphasizing the grave cost of living crisis and urging urgent government action to address challenges
The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has issued a stark warning, citing recent incidents of widespread looting as ominous signs of potential anarchy and chaos looming over Nigeria’s future.
In a statement by Muhammed Ishaq, the acting National Publicity Secretary of the opposition party, PRP emphasized that the rampant looting of food items from trucks and warehouses across highways and cities underscores the grave cost of living crisis gripping most Nigerian citizens.
PRP condemns these looting incidents, particularly the recent episode in Dogarawa, a suburb of Zaria in Kaduna State, where residents raided a parked truck and made off with cartons of spaghetti.
The party urges government at all levels to urgently implement policies aimed at addressing the current challenges faced by the populace. PRP warns that failure to take decisive action could result in Nigeria sliding further towards anarchy.
