The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Keffi branch, confirmed his demise.
In a statement issued by its Chairman, Nuhu J. Egya, the NBA described Justice Makama’s demise as an irreparable loss.
The association extended its condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed for the fortitude to bear the loss.
They also expressed condolences to the Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, Justice Aisha Bashir-Aliyu, and the entire judiciary, describing Justice Makama’s death as untimely
Justice Makama was appointed as a judge on December 29, 2023.
