President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the abductions of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Borno State and students and teachers in Kaduna State, describing the incidents as heinous.

In a statement issued by presidential spokesman Chief Ajuri Ngelale in Abuja on Friday, President Tinubu expressed his outrage and called for immediate action by security operatives to rescue the abducted individuals.

The President assured the public that he had been briefed by security chiefs on both incidents and expressed confidence in the swift rescue of the victims. He emphasized that nothing less than the safe return of the abducted citizens is acceptable.

President Tinubu directed security and intelligence agencies to prioritize the rescue of the victims and ensure that justice is served against the perpetrators of these reprehensible acts.

Offering his sympathies to the victims’ families, President Tinubu reassured them of the government’s commitment to reuniting them with their loved ones without delay.

He stated, “I have received a briefing from security chiefs on the two incidents, and I am confident that the victims will be rescued. Nothing else is acceptable to me and the waiting family members of these abducted citizens. Justice will be decisively administered.”
