- Tinubu met with Babangida at his Hilltop residence in Minna, the Niger State capital
President Bola Tinubu on Monday visited former Military Head of State, Gen Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, IBB.
Tinubu met with Babangida at his Hilltop residence in Minna, the Niger State capital.
The president was accompanied on the visit by Governor Umaru Bago.
Earlier, Tinubu had inaugurated agricultural machineries, a pet project of Governor Bago.
During the inauguration, Tinubu expressed his readiness to end the farmers-herders crisis across the state.
While urging governors to provide lands, the president said he would draw up a programme that would end the crisis in two to three weeks.
“When we reorient the herders and make provisions for cattle rearing, governors must provide the land and I, as the president, is committed to giving you in two to three weeks time a comprehensive programme that will solve this problem,” Tinubu said.
