Bauchi governor mourns late Darazo District Head

The governor, accompanied by top government officials, visited the late district head's palace in Darazo on Sunday to pay his respects

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Alhaji Muhammadu Bababa Ibrahim Hamza, former District Head of Darazo, who passed away last week.

Describing his passing as a significant loss to Darazo and the Bauchi Emirate Council, the governor, accompanied by top government officials, visited the late district head’s palace in Darazo on Sunday to pay his respects.

He lauded the late traditional ruler as a dependable and esteemed leader who tirelessly served the best interests of his people and the Bauchi Emirate. As a gesture of solidarity, Mohammed offered prayers for the deceased and encouraged his family to continue praying for him.

According to him, the deceased has exhibited a high sense of patriotism and maturity in the management of the district, adding that he would be remembered for his good deeds.

Responding, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, represented by Madakin Bauchi, Dr Baba Gidado, expressed gratitude to the governor for the condolence visit and prayed Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
