Alhaji Garba Badamasi, a traditional ruler in Bauchi state, has been killed by gunmen who kidnapped him.

It’s gathered that the traditional ruler was reportedly kidnapped March 15, 2024 by the gunmen following an invasion of his palace.
According to reports, the gunmen, after abducting the late Badamasi, did not reach out to any of his family members for ransom payment.
His lifeless body was later found after he had spent a day in captivity.
His corpse, which was dumped close to the village, was said to have been recovered by villagers who were searching for him in the bush.
The Bauchi State Police Command have not issued a statement regarding the incident.
