- Assured that adequate punishment would be meted out to them
Three operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as Amotekun Corps, have been dismissed from the security formation.
The commander of the corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, stated that the affected operatives were dismissed for unprofessional conduct while on duty.
Adeleye disclosed this on Tuesday while parading some suspects at the headquarters of the Corps in Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital, over alleged theft and burglary.
According to the Amotekun boss, the personnel were thoroughly investigated before they were kicked out of the Corps.
He added that after their dismissal, the operatives will be made to face the law over their conduct.
“Today, we have three Amotekun personnel that had gone through the normal process of court marshalling and are being dismissed for professional misconduct.
“They cease to be members of Amotekun Ondo State Corps as of now, and we would ensure that adequate punishment would be meted out to them even after dismissal.”
