In Anambra State, a road that was inaugurated weeks ago by governor Charles Soludo has been damaged by heavy downpour.
A viral video on social media showed how the newly-built Ochanja Market Road in the south east State was washed away by torrential rainfall.
In the video shared by a user, chude_ on X, the road’s asphalt has become disjointed with its coating displaced, its pieces strewn around like a flotsam in a flood, the surrounding areas were also waterlogged.
Chude captioned the video, “When we complain e go be like say we too dey talk, just one rainfall, look at Soludo’s road.
“This is the same Ochanja-Iweka Road they were celebrating its newly constructed needless roundabout some weeks ago. Shame dey catch me.
“Just look at the state of the road after just one rainfall. What exactly did we do to deserve this #CCSoludo?”
