Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has called on Christians nationwide to utilize the Easter period as an opportunity to unite and advance the country.
AbdulRazaq conveyed this message in his Easter felicitation to the state’s Christian community, emphasising Easter’s significance in fostering themes such as love, sacrifice, compassion, unity, and the triumph of good over evil.
“The sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the enduring legacy he imparted for humanity prompt us to engage in deeper reflection during this period and beyond,” stated the governor in a release by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Friday.
He encouraged citizens to embrace the occasion to rekindle their faith in God, “unify for the progress of the nation and collective development, and support one another in upholding righteousness and justice in society.”
