Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, governor of Kwara has expressed joy with the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-el-fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast.
The governor charged Muslim faithful to avoid anything that may eat away the rewards of their Ramadan or question their sincerity as devotees
In a statement on Tuesday, Rafiu Ajakaye, chief press secretary to the governor, said Abdulrazaq congratulated the leader of the faithful in Kwara, Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, Emir of Ilorin on the successful completion of the fasting period
He asked the Muslim community to make the noble activities of the holy month, including almsgiving, abstinence from negativities, and good conduct an integral feature of their daily lives.
The governor further asked Allah to grant everyone a blessed Eid and better years ahead in the best state of faith.
