Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has promised to cultivate a conducive political atmosphere in the region. He will ensure that all political factions can operate freely, engage with the government, and provide credible opposition.

Governor Fubara affirmed this commitment yesterday during a gathering at the Government House in Port Harcourt with the leadership of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Rivers State Chapter, chaired by Sensei Solsuema Osaro.

Expressing his openness to criticism as a catalyst for better governance, Governor Fubara stated, “Even after leaving here, critique me; I welcome it; it motivates me to excel.”

He praised IPAC for aligning with his administration and assured them he was willing to seek their input on crucial matters, including appointments.

In response, Barrister Sensei Solsuema Osaro thanked Governor Fubara for the audience and announced IPAC’s vote of confidence in the governor. Furthermore, he disclosed IPAC’s decision to confer upon the governor the title of Grand Patron and Leader of all political factions in the state.
