The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Ganduje has received local government and ward executive members from the state on Wednesday.
In a terse statement on the official X account of the APC, the party disclosed that the executives were on a solidarity visit to the ex-governor’s residence following media reports of his alleged suspension from the party.
“The national chairman, Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje, received his legitimate LGA & Ward executives from Kano State on a solidarity visit in the aftermath of media reports of his purported suspension from the Party by an imposter Executive Committee of Ganduje Ward in Dawakin Tofa LGA,” the tweet reads.
Recall that the APC executives in Dawakin ward, under Tofa LGA of Kano, suspended Ganduje over alleged corruption on Monday.
