AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, governor of Kwara, has mourned the death of Rafiu Ibrahim, former PDP senator representing Kwara south.
Ibrahim was said to have passed away on Wednesday at the age of 58.
In a statement released on Wednesday by Rafiu Ajakaiye, the chief press secretary to the state governor, Abdulrazaq described the death as a shocking development, reminding everyone of the inevitability of death for all human beings and the fact that it could come unannounced for anyone.
The governor sends his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late senator, the people of Ojoku in Oyun Local Government Area, and the Peoples Democratic Party on this sad development.
He prayed to Allah to admit the senator to al-Jannah Firdaus and give comfort to his family members, political associates, and followers.
