The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has started a Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting at its national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday afternoon, ahead of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
The BoT is an advisory body comprising mainly elders of the party, chaired by former Senate President, Senator Adolphus Wabara.
In addition to Wabara, other attendees at the ongoing meeting include Senate Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro, National Secretary Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Acting National Chairman of the party Amb. Umar Damagum, and Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum Bala Mohammed.
During his introductory remarks, Wabara stated that the gathering will offer a forum for introspection and future direction for the party, its officials, and constituents.
