Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate in the 2023 elections in Kogi , engaged in an heated argument with Samuel Ortom, the former governor of Benue state.
It was gathered that the incident happened at a crucial meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.
In the meeting, stakeholders of the opposition party’s and north-central geopolitical zone were in attendance during the commotion.
Melaye reportedly expressed surprise that Ortom could feel comfortable sitting in a PDP meeting, walking in majestically after his alleged anti-party activities that made the party lose both the presidential and gubernatorial elections in Benue state.

The former senator said that Ortom ought to face consequences from the PDP, which sparked a verbal fight between the two.
Recall that, Ortom is a member of the five governors (G5) who teamed up in the 2023 elections to work against Atiku, the party’s presidential candidate.
