Nasarawa: Gov Sule Appoints New Traditional Head Of Gade Chiefdom

Gomo Babye is a first-class traditional chief in the state

Abdullahi Sule, governor of Nasarawa has approved the appointment of Alhaji Aminu Sulaiman as the new Gomo Babye of Gade Chiefdom in Toto LGA of in the state.

In a statement by SSG, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu, the appointment followed the successful selection exercise conducted on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Ubandoma-Aliyu said that the new Gomo Babye succeeds the late Alhaji Aliyu Baba Daudu who died on Monday, 24th July, 2023.

“Alhaji Aminu Sulaiman, the new Gomo Babye attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Lagos State University where he obtained Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies and a Masters Degree in Social Works, respectively,” the statement reads.

“Until his recent appointment, the new Gomo Babye was a retired Deputy-Controller of Customs (Federal Operations Unit) and loves community and cultural development, long and table tennis.

“He is happily married with children.”

Gomo Babye is a first-class traditional chief in Nasarawa.
