The federal government affirmed its commitment on Monday to tackle the issue of malnutrition in Nigeria by utilizing data from the National Food Consumption and Micronutrient Survey report.
During the launch of the 2021 National Food Consumption and Micronutrient Survey report in Abuja, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, underscored the significance of addressing malnutrition as crucial for human capital development across all age groups, starting from the embryonic stage.
Bagudu, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Nebolisa Anako, emphasized the essential role of adequate and proper nutrition in fostering human capital development.
